2-Day Hotel Security Design & Management Workshop ™
>>> A Sky Touch and eHotelier Academy Course Hotel Safety & Security Course
Crime is a social problem that affects thousands of hotels every year. Combating the complex issue of potential crimes at hotels requires various strategies. The process of risk mitigation begins with awareness of relevant risk factors, ideally in the early design stages of the hotel property itself.
This new Workshop is the first of its kind that deals with the issue of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (C.P.T.E.D.) in the specific context of the hotel industry. CPTED is an effective, results-driven approach to crime prevention which is becoming an increasingly prevalent issue throughout the hospitality business globally. You will learn more about how to build a robust security architecture based on the principles of CPTED and we will show you the techniques on how to maintain the first layers of defence.
The purpose of this workshop is to raise security awareness and enhance the current level of security by reducing the number of incidents and the danger of crime through basic design and management strategies. You will obtain insights into safety & security best practices and learn from the Hotel Security Specialists at Sky Touch how to protect the hotels’ interests. We at Sky Touch call this approach the R.A.P. (Reputation, Asset, People).
We show you how CPTED and PCCTD the Prevention of Cross-Contamination Through Design is linked together. In the last couple of month, our Risk Navigators have gained valuable new skillsets in that space and we have developed the foundation of the PCCTD methodology, which is associated with CPTED. The suggestions are a part of the 75 audit checkpoints to make hotels safer.
